Oscar Heman-Ackah, husband of filmmaker Kemi Adetiba, threw a surprise party over the weekend to celebrate her 44th birthday.
Kemi shared several videos and pictures from the birthday party on her Instagram account on Monday.
The King of Boys director said she knew her husband was up to something and she had the most pleasant shock of her life.
Her friends and family attended the birthday party, including actress Sola Sobowale and singer Simi.
On her Instagram, Kemi wrote: “This happened!!! I KNEW my honey @oscarhemanackah was up to something. It was giving “engagement” style stealth vibes But he threw me off last minute and I had the most pleasant shock of my life. My wish came through (sic). I was celebrated and loved upon. My heart wants to BURST.
“I can’t wait for the professional photos as I don’t have personal documentation of the people that were there and the time they had.
“Thank you to my family, thank you to my amazing friends… But most importantly, thank you to the love of my entire life, my boo thang, my “lobster”, our UNCLE O – May God reward you a MILLION fold. Anything you touch will be even MORE prosperous. My greatest pride was so many people at the party (not one… Not 4) coming up to me going, “Your husband SOMETHING!!” “Your husband is a REAL ONE, you’re so lucky” etc

Kemi and Oscar got married on April 22, 2022.
Like Kemi, Oscar is also a filmmaker.
