Juliana Olayode goes into worship mood as A Tribe Called Judah makes N400m in two weeks

Actress Juliana Olayode could not hold back her excitement on Tuesday as Funke Akindele’s latest film A Tribe Called Judah makes N400 million in two weeks.

The actress shared the good news on Instagram with a video of herself and others holding a praise and worship session with others.

In the video, a delighted Juliana could be seen singing and dancing at a church event.

She wrote: “400 million in two weeks!!!! Who dey check am????? THIS IS THE HAND OF GOD!!!! THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH IS AT WORK!!! We get backing!!!!

“While we were praising God was working!!! Just look at this God!!! THANK YOU GOD!!! Thanks to everyone who has seen A Tribe Called Judah and to everyone who will see it. God bless you all.

“Mama I am so proud of you, this is just the beginning, God is using you to show off and I’m here for all of it, I love it for you mama @funkejenifaakindele you deserve all the win in the world. Love you mama.”

This comes days after Funke Akindele revealed that A Tribe Called Judah made 122 million naira, three days after its release in the cinemas.

Funke Akindele praises Juliana Olayode for role in A Tribe Called Judah

A Tribe Called Judah hit the cinemas on December 15, after its premiere at the Imax Cinemas on December 10.

The film has also beaten Funke’s previous movies Omo Ghetto: The Saga and Battle on Buka Street to become the actress’ biggest opening film and also the number one overall film in Nigeria and West Africa.

While speaking on her latest achievement, Funke expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her, with special thanks to the cast and crew of the movie.

Directed by Adeoluwa Owu and Funke, the film tells the story of a family of boys, who decide to rob a mall to raise money for their mother’s hospital bill. However, on getting there, they are faced with armed robbers.

The film features Funke Akindele, Juliana Olayode, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Jidekene Achufusi, Nosa Rex, Uzee Uzman, Timini Egbuson, Tobi Makinde, Uzor Arukwe and Ebele Okaro.
