Olajide Adediran, a governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has continued his consultations with party and government leaders ahead of the party’s primaries.

Adediran, also known as Jandor, recently visited speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa as part of his engagement with key stakeholders.

He also met with Abayomi Finnih, a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), during a separate visit. The meeting, according to his team, focused on discussions on governance and party matters.

“Speaker Obasa is a grassroots political mobilizer whose relevance and buy-in can’t be overemphasised as we warm up for our party primaries.

“Dr. Finih on the other hand, offered valuable elderly admonitions money can’t buy, owing to his decades of experience in politics,” the governorship hopeful said in a social media post after the visit.

The consultations form part of Adediran’s engagement with party leaders and structures across the state as he prepares for the APC primaries.

He said his approach combines grassroots mobilisation with engagement at the leadership level to build support within the party.

Adediran also restated his commitment to party unity and respect for established leadership structures, noting that his aspiration is focused on collective progress and sustaining the party’s position in Lagos State.

According to his team, directives to leaders within his political structure across the 377 wards and 13,326 polling units in the state remain in place, with ongoing engagement of party members.

The consultations are expected to continue as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
