Iyabo Ojo reacts to Lizzy Anjorin’s allegation of framing Seun Egbegbe

Actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to an allegation that she framed movie producer Seun Egbegbe.

The allegation was made by fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin in a video she shared on her Instagram account in which she accused her colleague of setting her up after she was accused of stealing gold at a market in Lagos.

While clearing the air on the misunderstanding, Lizzy added: “Me I dey watch you, as you sef dey watch me, you come remind me how set up Seun Egbede, you know say na the same concept you do for me today.”

Reacting in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Iyabo Ojos shared a screenshot of what appears to be a message from Seun and thanked him, for his loyalty.

Born Olajide Kareem, Seun was accused of scamming no fewer than 30 bureau de change operators in Lagos of various sums both in local and foreign currencies between 2015 and 2017.

Seun stood trial alongside his co-defendants Oyekan Ayomide, Lawal Kareem, Olalekan Yusuf and Muyideen Shoyombo in the fraud charges filed against them by the police.

The filmmaker was released on October 12, 2022, after spending five years and eight months in detention.
