Actress Iyabo Ojo has confirmed the report about singer Davido welcoming a set of twins with his wife Chioma Rowland.
News of the singer welcoming the twins started speculating on social media in the early hours of Tuesday.
Some media reports subsequently claimed that Chioma gave birth to the twins in the US.
Congratulating the couple in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Iyabo posted a video of Davido and Chioma in a hospital bed with a goodwill message.
“Congratulations, @thechefchi & @davido, on your jewels of inestimable values. God’s protection, provision, and happiness, forever, the actress who often refers to herself as Queen Mother wrote.Â
However, an Instagram user identified as Sharon Moses claimed the video Iyabo posted was an old video of the couple after the birth of their late son Ifeanyi but the actress insisted that it was a recent video.

“Iyabo this old video of Ifeanyi’s birth. Go to @gist.connect that blogger said it last month that Chioma will give birth to twins and the blogger is also revealing that Chioma and David are not in terms currently,” the user wrote.
“@officialsharonmoses it’s yesterday dear,” the movie star replied.
While other celebrities like Victoria Inyama and Junior Pope have congratulated the couple, Davido and Chioma are yet to confirm the report.
