IK Osakioduwa remembers kidnapped Dapchi schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu

Media personality, IK Osakioduwa, has reminded fans not to forget about Leah Sharibu, the student of Government Girls Science and Technical Secondary School, Dapchi, who was kidnapped along with over 100 other girls by the Boko Haram on February 19, 2018.

Dapchi community is in Bursari Local Government Area of Yobe State.

Although the other girls have been released, Leah is still being held by her abductors for refusing to denounce her Christian faith.

IK, 41, Ttook to Instagram on Monday to reveal that he had been thinking about her.

“Leah Sharibu on my mind this morning. #NotForgotten. #BringHerHome. LeahIsNow17,” he captioned a picture of the young girl.

While the Federal Government has assured that it is doing all it can to rescue Leah, it was reported that she had been married off to a top Boko Haram commander.

The 17-year-old reportedly gave birth to a baby boy in January.
