Actress Biodun Okeowo has celebrated her son, Faiz, on his graduation from Concordia University of Edmonton in Canada.
The movie star shared a video from the graduation ceremony on Instagram on Sunday, expressing gratitude as she reflected on the years of sacrifice that led to the milestone.
She wrote,“Years ago, it was just me, my prayers, my sacrifices, and a dream for my son.
“Today, that dream is standing tall and graduating abroad.
“Every late night, every bill paid alone, every tear I hid, every sacrifice I made was worth it. I may have walked this journey as a single mother, but God never left my side.
“Congratulations, my joy. @faiznszn Watching you achieve this milestone fills my heart with gratitude and pride. You are proof that every sacrifice was worth it.
“To every single parent carrying the weight of two people, keep going. One day, your sacrifices will speak louder than your struggles.
“Proud is an understatement. My son, you are my greatest testimony.”
Her post drew congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues who joined her in celebrating her son’s achievement.
Biodun, popularly known as Omoborty, has previously spoken about raising her children as a single mother. In July 2024, she married businessman Adeniyi Olabiyi in a traditional wedding ceremony after announcing their engagement earlier that year.
The actress later held a white wedding in December 2024 and has since shared moments from her married life on social media.
