I hope to see Osinbajo get haircut at Ajegunle, Zamfara – Fayose

Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose

Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has criticised the highly publicised haircut of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at a barbing saloon in Abuja outside the Aso Villa.

Mr Osinbajo had on Thursday visited a barber shop, Luxor salon and Spar in Wuse 2, Abuja, where he had a haircut.

Mr Fayose criticised the gesture saying that it was a mere political act which should have been done before election time.

He added that he hoped to see the vice president go for a haircut in saloons in Ajegunle, Lagos, Baga in Borno or “those armed bandits controlled towns in Zamfara.”

Fayose wrote on Twitter on Saturday: “It is only election fever that will drive a VP to that high class barbing saloon in Abuja, something he never did in the last three & half years. I hope to see the VP patronising barbing saloons in Ajegunle Lagos, Baga in Borno or those armed bandits controlled towns in Zamfara.”

Pictures of the vice president sitting for a haircut in a public place went viral on social media.

Reports said that Osinbajo advised the residents of the area to vote the Buhari-led administration.
