Actress Lizzy Anjorin has reacted to a public apology from her colleague Helen Paul whose post was “misinterpreted” by Lizzy.
Helen who is fond of posting funny content on her Instagram account, made a post on Sunday, asking what a baby lizard is called.
“My people, what is a baby Lizard called? Is it Lizzy baby? I dey inside exam hall.”
Reacting in the comment section of the post, Iyabo who is currently at loggerheads heads with Lizzy dropped a laughing sticker in a manner that suggests she is mocking Lizzy Anjorin.
Lizzy Anjorin who was obviously offended by the post, cautioned Helen Paul.
“Una don see unna acclaimed professor wey dey do comedy post? Na jeje I dey on my lane,” she wrote.
On Monday, Helen apologised to Lizzy, stating that the post was never about her and it was misinterpreted.
“Good morning sis. Some people called me to inform me about my playful post and said you were angry. So sorry, It wasn’t in any way referring to you. Sorry got the misinterpretation or timing. Thank You,” Helen Paul wrote.
Reacting to the apology, Lizzy said she did not fire back at Helen because she likes her. She added that the comment of Sepeteri (a fictional character who many have come to believe is Iyabo Ojo including the actress herself) made her think otherwise.
