Lizzy Anjorin breaks silence amid absence in court over Iyabo Ojo’s defamation suit

Actress Lizzy Anjorin has reacted to her colleague Iyajo Ojo’s defamation suit against her.

Recall that Iyabo through her lawyers on November 24, accused Lizzy of referring to her as Sepeteri, a fictional character the Lizzy claimed had a threesome with her daughter.

In the letter, Iyabo demanded an apology, a retraction and N500 million as compensation for damages to her reputation, adding that the matter would be taken to court if Lizzy failed to oblige to her demands.

Lizzy in her response, laughed off the letter saying that she never mentioned Iyabo’s name in her post and videos.

However, on Monday, Iyabo shared a video of herself and her lawyer on Instagram speaking with newsmen about the matter which is now being handled by the court.

The lawyer stated that the case has been adjourned to April 10 and she is positive about getting justice for her client. Iyabo also asked Lizzy to come with all her evidence, adding that she did not show up in court.

Reacting in her usual manner, Lizzy shared a video on her Instagram mentioning Sepeteri and Gistlover.

She wrote: “IS THERE ANY LAWYERS IN THE HOUSE?SEPETERI GISTLOVER IS LOOKING FOR DONATIONS…TELL HER TO PRODUCE EVIDENCE.”

When a follower asked why she did not appear in court, Lizzy replied: “@dayookupeiyiola Epilepsy lon se mama e.”
