Akeem Adesola, husband of herbal mixture seller Sisi Alagbo, has spoken about the circumstances surrounding a sex tape that recently circulated online, saying he did not release it.
In a statement on Saturday, he denied leaking the clip. “If I was the one that deliberately leaked our threesome sx tape to the internet, may God punish and k!Il me,” he said, maintaining that the incident was not intentional.
He explained that the video was mistakenly shared by his wife while she was trying to send a message through Facebook Messenger.
“It was my wife that wanted to send something to Facebook messenger and she mistakenly sent the video to a Facebook channel. Before she could delete it, a lady named Mercy Akinbanjo had saved it.”
According to him, the situation escalated after the individual allegedly demanded money to keep the video from being made public. “She contacted us that we should give her money or else she would post the video,” he said.
Adesola said they chose not to pay after seeking advice. “People advised us not to give her the money because blackmailers don’t stop. Nigerians please help us,” he added.
He said the matter was reported to the police, leading to the arrest of the suspect. He further claimed that during interrogation, she admitted to sharing the video with another person.
The video began circulating on social media earlier in last week, drawing widespread reactions. Following the incident, the couple issued apologies on their social media pages, expressing regret.
They also appealed to the public for understanding as the matter continues to unfold.
