Akeem Adesola, husband of herbal vendor Sisi Alagbo, has apologised to Nigerians following the controversy surrounding a leaked intimate video involving himself, his wife and another woman.
The clip, which surfaced online in recently, quickly spread across social media, drawing reactions from users and raising concerns about privacy and conduct.
In a statement, Akeem addressed the public and those close to him, admitting wrongdoing and expressing regret.
“I write with a deep sense of responsibility and sincere remorse to extend my heartfelt apologies to my family, friends, business associates, religious leaders, fans, loved ones and the entire Nigerian public over the recent incident involving a leaked sxx scandal”
He also apologised directly to his family, acknowledging the impact of the incident.
“To my family, I am truly sorry for the pain and distress this has brought upon you. To religious bodies and moral institutions, I recognize the weight of this misconduct and the need for accountability. I humbly ask for your understanding, forgiveness, and continued prayers as I work to become a better individual”
His apology follows an earlier statement by Sisi Alagbo, who also expressed regret over the video. She admitted fault and asked the public for forgiveness, saying she takes responsibility for her actions.
