Herbal vendor Eniola Fagbemi, popularly known as Eniola Sisi Alagbo, has apologised after a video she made surfaced online.
The clip, which has been widely shared on social media, shows the herbal vendor recording two adults having sex while all parties involved were unclothed.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, she admitted fault, asked for forgiveness and said she regrets the incident.
“I own my mistakes, and I apologize with all sincerity for the video circulating online,” she wrote. “I am deeply sorry to everyone who felt disappointed in me.”
Fagbemi, who is based in Oyo State, also spoke about how the situation has affected her personal life and mental health.
She said the reactions online have made it difficult for her to eat or sleep.
“I am already passing through a lot. I can’t eat or sleep for days. Even sleeping medicines aren’t working for me any longer,” she wrote.
“Please forgive me. I don’t want to injure myself. I only have a little strength left.”
She added that social media is her main source of income and appealed for understanding from the public.
“Please, let’s move past this because this media platform is where I get the little support I need to feed myself. Please do not condemn or castigate me,” she added.
Sisi Alagbo, who has nearly 400,000 followers on Facebook, describes herself as a certified herbal expert in fertility, infection and manhood maintenance.
In Nigeria, similar controversies have previously involved public figures such as Tiwa Savage, Cross Okonkwo, Oxlade and Moyo Lawal.
