Kcee Air Peace endorsementFive Star Music artiste, Kcee, is a happy man right now. So happy that he has made a false claim about being the first Nigerian artiste to be endorsed by an airline

The ‘Limpopo’ singer who just signed an endorsement deal with Air Peace posted a picture of himself and others on his Instagram page on Tuesday.

He then added the caption “Whoever who said hardwork doesn’t pay hasn’t tried hard enough! Air Peace just added another feather to my cap by making me their brand ambassador… shout out to all the other major brands I represent in Nigeria. #FirstNigerianArtistToBeEndorsedByAnAirline #AirPeace #BrandAmbassador #Alkayida #LimpopoKing”

Kcee may however need to pull over and edit the things he has been posting on social media since the deal was announced.

A quick check gives a lie to 36-year-old Kingsley Okonkwo’s claim of being the first Nigerian artiste to be endorsed by an airline.

Nollywood actor and director, Kunle Afolayan, as recently as July signed an endorsement deal with France’s national carrier, Air France.

Actor Jim Iyke also reportedly signed a deal with Virgin Atlantic in 2013.

Rapper turned comedian, Basketmouth, also had a deal with Virgin Atlantic to provide in-flight entertainment for passengers.

There are probably others we cannot seem to remember right away.
