Halogen sacks security operative for making inappropriate statement about Daddy Freeze’s son

Halogen Security Company Limited has sacked one of its operatives for making an inappropriate comment about the son of media personality, Daddy Freeze.

The company announced the sack after Freeze raised alarm over Daniel Osigwe’s comment about his son on Thursday on Instagram.

The five-year-old’s picture was used to advertise a food company on Instagram days ago.

Freeze reposted the picture and Mr Osigwe with the handle @dannyyung01 commented: “Daddy fridge..your montana baby boy go sweet for bed o.”

Angered by the comment, Freeze called out the man saying: “Let’s cleanse our social media of these kind of people like @dannyyung01. My son is 5 years old how can these thoughts even cross the mind of an adult?

“A child of this age should not be sexualized either male or female. I’m so angry 😤 😡Please let’s find this pedophile, expose him, it’s way too risky to have people like these roaming free.”

Osigwe has now been arrested by the police and is being interrogated for his comment.

Also, in a statement by Halogen’s spokesman, Tayo Suleiman, the company dissociated itself from Osigwe’s comment.

“The act by the said person was completely on his own accord and is condemned in the strongest terms,” the statement read, with apologies for Daddy Freeze and its client on whose premises Osigwe took a photograph which he posted on social media.

Freeze commended the security company for responding swiftly to the incident.

“The way you responded to this incident leaves me both assured and relieved. Within one hour of the post going public, the companies involved had scheduled a meeting and the man responsible had been fished out, this I applaud,” he said in an Instagram post on Friday.
