The programme themed; “The Green Reception; Lets Encourage Celebrations at Charity Homes”, is scheduled to hold on Sunday January 31, 2016, at the Heart of Gold Children Hospices, Surulere, Lagos.

Managing director, PRMAfrica and executive producer, AFRIMA, Mike Dada, notes that “At a time like this, we are using prominent personalities as a force of good to raise awareness for this Initiative. The campaign is also a fantastic opportunity to shed light on the financial challenges orphanage homes face and crowd-funding for entrepreneurial ventures to sustain homes on a monthly basis with less emphasis on Grants & Sponsorship.

“Together, we stand to help these orphans with special needs & letting them know we care. All proceeds of the 3K4Orphans Campaign go to the orphanage home entrepreneurial venture.”

3K4Orphans initiative arose from the dire need to assist Orphans. The idea is that if five hundred people donates three thousand naira each, 3K4Orphans will successfully raise one million, five hundred thousand naira for orphans. The funds will go towards the Heart of Gold Hospices (Orphanage) to start an entrepreneurial venture that would help sustain the home on a monthly basis, create jobs and fulfil the SDGs Goal 1 to reduce poverty.

Campaign leader, Chaste Inegbedion, speaking on the 3K4Orphans campaign says “sometimes, it is important to remember that we all have a responsibility to the world that we have been placed in. 3K4Orphans campaign is an opportunity to show that there is power in every single one of us to change our society; in this situation, improving the living standards of orphans and encouraging celebrations at this home starting with January Celebrants. Together, we can raise one million, five hundred thousand naira and more!”

3K4Orphans campaign will run throughout the month of January till post Valentine Day with a weekly diary in partnership with Agbowo.com as well via Twitter documenting money raised.
