Former Lagos commissioner Kehinde Bamigbetan loses wife

Kehinde Bamigbetan, former Lagos State commissioner for information and strategy, has lost his wife Fatimah Bamigbetan.

Mrs Bamigbetan died on November 21 in Ile-Ife, Osun State after battling cancer, family sources said.

Bamigbetan served briefly in the administration of former Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode as information commissioner.

Before that, he was chief press secretary of former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu.

The erstwhile politics editor of PUNCH newspaper was also at a time the chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Authority, Lagos.

Bamigbetan lost his nephew to Covid-19 earlier this year.
