FCT minister celebrates zero case of coronavirus recorded Thursday

Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ramatu Aliyu, has called for residents to stay at home following zero case of coronavirus recorded in the FCT on Thursday.

The Nigeria Centre of Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night announced 14 new cases of COVID-19 in Lagos and Delta States.

Tweeting on Friday, Mrs Aliyu pressed for FCT residents to stay home in the face of the ravaging virus.

“In yesterday’s case summary of #COVID19 by @NCDCgov, FCT recorded 0 case. #stayhome #staysafe,” she said.

Abuja currently has 54 confirmed COVID-19 cases, seven persons have been discharged while two others have died of the disease.
