Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, was on Wednesday, appointed Special Adviser, Lagos Liaison by Cross River Governor, Benedict Ayade.
Fans of the screen diva have been sending congratulatory messages on Twitter since the news broke.
This is a huge compensation for Kate, who lost her ticket to represent the Calabar South Federal Constituency on the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2015 general elections.
Ayade also appointed Senator Florence Ita-Giwa as Chairman of the Cross River Ports Authority.
