Family announces burial date for ex-minister, Funke Adedoyin

The family of a member of the House of Representatives, Funke Adedoyin, who died on September 28, has released the programme for her burial.

According to the programme signed by Prince Ayo Adedoyin and Mrs. Funke Adepoju, a service of songs will be held for the late former minister of state for health on October 9 at the State Banquet Hall, Ahmadu Bello Way, Ilorin, Kwara State at 4pm by the Kwara State Government.

Another service of songs will hold by 5pm on that day at A Class Event Centre, Wuse 2, Abuja.

On October 11, a wake keep and night of tribute will hold at BICS Garden, Wole Olateju Street, Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos State at 4pm.

The funeral service will take place by 11am on October 12 at Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pavilion Parish, Jide Obi Street, off Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The daughter of industrialist, Samuel Adedoyin, Ms Adedoyin represented Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun’Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara State at the House of Representatives before her death.

She was amongst a host of All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers who joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a mass defection earlier this year.
