Emeka Rollas reacts to sexual assault allegation against Moses Armstrong

The national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, has reacted to the sexual assault allegation against actor Moses Armstrong.

Qed.ng reported that Akwa Ibom State Police arrested Moses Armstrong for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.

Confirming the arrest to our source on Thursday, Mr Rollas described the case as “a very serious one” as it is being handled by the first lady of the state, Martha Udom Emmanuel, through her Family Empoerwemnt and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.

Emeka Rollas added that the accusation was a sad development involving one of their own but the organsation will not stand for such a crime.

“To get involved with a child as young as 16yrs, is something I and the association I represent, would not stand for and this is a very sad development involving a member of ours, but I wouldn’t want to comment any further on this case,” he said.

Moses Armstrong is a special assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel.

Moses lost his wife actress Rita Armstrong in 2018.

Rita died from spinal cord injuries sustained from an accident.
