Founder of Heirs Holdings and chairman of the United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) Tony Elumelu has reacted to a skit made by comedian Bovi in promotion of his upcoming show Identity Crisis.

The show is billed to take place on Saturday at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

Bovi posted the video on X on September 27. In the skit, the funnyman poses as Mr Elumelu while a woman poses as the president of Transcorp Owen Omogiafo.

But, Bovi introduces the woman in the skit as “Owen, the president of the power company.”

Bovi dresses in Elumelu’s preferred red colours and meets some Caucasian people and offers to sell UBA for N22 million.

It didn’t take long for Bovi and the woman with him to be discovered as fraudsters.

Apparently impressed with Bovi’s performance, Elumelu reacted to the video on Saturday, saying: “Nice one.”
