She wrote: “As I consider the year that I’ve had, all I can see is how much of God’s goodness has been over me and my family through all the years.

“From seeing so many productions I’ve worked on come to life to all the joyful moments: my first son getting married and celebrating 30 years with my husband. All I can do is count my blessings.

“As I celebrate my birthday today, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone. To those who have supported and uplifted me; to friends and family; to those who have prayed for me and others who have loved me, even from a distance. Thank you. May your own years be filled with endless joy and blessings.”
