Eedris Abdulkareem, Baba Fryo lead protest to Pastor Adeboye

Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has led protesters to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Joined in the protest were fellow musicians, Baba Fryo and Felix Duke.

The artistes staged a protest on Monday to demand that the general overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, speak on the RUGA settlement project proposed by the Federal Government.

“We are here to see Baba Adeboye, who is our father. We love him so much and we want him to speak and he must speak. It is very important for him to speak.

“I’m here with Baba Fryo, I’m here with Felix Duke and we are here to say ‘Baba speak up’. You have talked about COZA, now, we want you to talk about RUGA,” Eedris said in a video on Instagram.

They also queried Adeboye for maintaining silence on Leah Sharibu’s captivity with Boko Haram.

They accused him of shielding Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who is a pastor of the RCCG, despite his inability to secure Sharibu’s release.

The group called on the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to suspend Adeboye for what they described as his complicity on the matter.
