In his post, he listed his children’s names, expressing their unity in honoring their grandmother.

The Fuji icon announced his mother’s passing last Saturday, revealing she was a 105-year-old matriarch. She was buried the same day in accordance with Islamic rites, in a ceremony attended by a large crowd.

Several celebrities, including actors Femi Adebayo, Mercy Aigbe and Faithia Balogun, alongside Aigbe’s husband Kazim Adeoti and Dayo Amusa, have since visited K1 to offer their condolences.

President Bola Tinubu, actor Adebayo Salami and Fuji musician Abass Akande Obesere also sent messages of condolence.

In a heartfelt tribute, Obesere described the late Alhaja as a loving and godly woman whose virtues were reflected in her children.

He urged K1 to find solace in her peaceful rest and prayed for her eternal peace in Allah’s care.
