Gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan has raised an alarm on social media over what he described as a criminal and unauthorised re-upload of his song ‘Code of Worship’ on digital music platforms.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Dunsin disclosed on Saturday that the song, which originally was part of his 2022 album The Glory Experience, has been illegally released again by an unknown party.
He called on his followers to assist in tracking and reporting the unlawful version wherever it appears online.
“My X folks, I need you to help report and bring down a criminal and illegal upload on all digital platforms. Someone released CODE OF WORSHIP again. I released it on THE GLORY EXPERIENCE album in 2022. Please wherever you find it, Report immediately. Thanks,” he wrote.
The 40-year-old also expressed appreciation in advance to fans for their support in taking down the infringing content, signaling his readiness to take action against the breach.
Oyekan is one of Nigeria’s most prominent worship leaders, known for hit tracks such as ‘Yah’, ‘Open Up’, and ‘Fragrance to Fire’.
