Singer Davido has taken to Instagram to show off the gold certification for his song ‘If’.
The singer shared the gold plate on his Instastories on Tuesday with the words: “More to come.”
The hit song was in February certified gold in the United States.
David wrote on Instagram at the time, “My 2nd Gold record!!! Oh God, I am grateful!! The Only two Afro beats solo singles to go Gold in the USA in Afro-beats history!! God is good!!! MORE TO COME.”
Davido’s song ‘Fall’ was also certified gold in the US in May 2020.
A song is certified gold in the US after selling 500, 000 copies by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
