Popstar Davido has reacted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declaring Anambra 2021 governorship election inconclusive.

Davido shared the report on his Instagram story on Monday.

Reacting to this, the singer wrote: “Smh useless people.”

Returning officer for the poll Prof. Florence Obi said on Sunday night that a supplementary election would hold in 362 polling units in Ihiala Local Government Area on November 9.

Citing the Constitution, Obi noted that election has to take place in those polling units for the election to be concluded.

She noted that election did not take place in Ihiala because there were reports of insecurity in the area.

”As the electoral officer, I hereby announce the suspension of result until elections are held in all the polling units in Ihiala. Supplementary election will take place in the area on November 9,” she said.

Before suspending collation, Obi had said that Prof. Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) polled a total of 103, 946 votes followed by Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 51,322 votes to emerge second.
