Davido Music Worldwide boss, Davido, has presented his plaques of recognition to this father, Adedeji Adeleke.

In the video posted to Instagram on Friday, the Atlanta born singer was seen in a joyful atmosphere with his father and daughter, Harley.

The 25-year-old ‘Assurance’ singer showed off his plaques while appreciating his father for the love and support he has extended to him in the cause of his musical journey.

Earlier this year, Davido received double plaques of success for the worldwide performance of his song in the music market.

Two of his 2017 hits, IF and Fall were certified Diamond and Fall respectively.

In an interview published in Daily Post in January, the singer revealed that his dad was not initially in support of this music career.

“My dad didn’t like me doing music! If he saw my face on a billboard, he’d arrest everybody at that show!

“But when I made the song ‘Dami Duro’ [2011], it became the biggest track in Africa; it’s saying: ‘I’m the son of a rich man, you can’t stop me, and people love me.’

“It now feels good for dad to see that music can take me this far,” he said.
