The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has described pop singer, Davido, as the reigning king of Nigerian music.
The 26-year-old musician shared a video of Atiku Abubakar praising him in a interview via a tweet on Tuesday.
“Our incoming President knows wassup!!!! @atiku God Bless you sir !!” Davido captioned the video.
While speaking about entertainment, Atiku Abubakar admitted to being a big fan of Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
“At my youth, Fela was the king of music, and believe me, he was my favorite musician. And I made sure I attended all Shrine musical events throughout the night and till morning,” he said.
The former vice-president vowed to end the ongoing strike by university lecturers in the country as his first task if elected president on Sunday while speaking  at the Silverbird Man of the Year event in Lagos.
