Davido considers signing female artiste to label

Davido wins at 2018 Headies

Davido Music Worldwide boss, Davido, has hinted on signing a female artiste to his fast-growing record label.

The singer, who brought in musician Idowest, to his music label on Wednesday, made this known on Twitter on Thursday.

Without giving a hint about the female artiste he may be adding to the DMW family, the singer stated his intention on signing one.

The tweet comes after the ‘Assurance’ singer said in a chat with Soundcity FM early this month that he could not sign a female artiste because he would be too overprotective.

In 2016, the singer announced on Twitter that singer Lola Rae has been signed to DMW.

He then revealed in 2017, that Lola Rae and Dammy Krane were not under his label.

Davido said in an interview with Soundcity FM, “My only artistes are Mayorkun, Dremo, and Yonda. Lola Rae and Dammy Krane are not signed to me. There is no contract, but we are all family.”
