Mikel Obi Super Eagles of Nigeria

Super Eagles skipper, Mikel Obi, finally arrived the team’s base in Uyo on Thursday.

Mikel linked up with his colleagues ahead of Monday’s international friendly with DR Congo in Port Harcourt in the company of Israel-based John Ogu.

The midfield pair brought the number of players in camp to 29 with Victor Moses expected to link up with the team in London.

Moses will be unavailable for the clash with the Leopards after partaking in Chelsea’s FA Cup triumph on Saturday.

Nigeria will finalise their domestic preparation against DRC before clashing with England and Czech Republic.

The three-time African champions will battle Argentina, Iceland and Croatia in Group at the World Cup.
