Singer Cynthia Morgan

Singer Cynthia Morgan now Madrina has sued her former boss owner of Northside Entertainment Limited Jude Okoye over her intellectual property.

In a story published by Punch, it says that Cynthia took Okoye to court on Thursday.

The court document showed that the singer demanded a full account of income and expenditure from her intellectual property by the defendant Jude Okoye.

Madrina claimed that since signing a contract with Okoye’s Northside Entertainment on September 25th 2013 he had spent about N8.5million on her.

She also expressed her dissatisfaction about Jude accounts on the profits he claimed to have made from her intellectual property.

Madrina said all her requests (for the documents) have been met with vague and ambiguous rebuttals despite Okoye’s claim that she still owes Northside Entertainment.

Madrina on October 30 announced her new deal with a US-based entertainment company The Facilitator Firm.

The 29-year-old said she made the decision to sign the deal with the global market in mind.

“I made the decision to sign the deal with the global market in mind. The Facilitator Firm definitely understands the global market.”
