Construction sites, not for prayers, Daddy Freeze tackles Adeyinka Alaseyori

Media personality Daddy Freeze has knocked down gospel singer Adeyinka Alaseyori for holding a prayer session at the 21-storey building on Gerard Road, Ikoyi before its collapse on Monday.

A video of the singer praying and singing with her team on top of the building surfaced online which led many to believe that she was also a victim of the collapse.

Reacting to the video on Instagram on Thursday, Daddy Freeze questioned why the singer and her team would hold a prayer session at the top of the building without safety precautions.

“Should you be on the site of an uncompleted building praying, singing and dancing with no safety hat, goggles or shoes? Stop endangering your lives! Construction sites are not venues for prayers. With all the prayers did the building still not collapse? God cannot be mocked.

Speaking further, the self declared scripture tutor quoted some bible verses, saying that there is no biblical proof that Jesus prayed in an uncompleted building.

“Our gospel singers and pastors also need to do better. There is no scriptural instance where Christ or the disciples went to pray over a building, let alone an uncompleted one,” he wrote in parts.

Meanwhile, Adeyinka has debunked the report that she was present at the time of the collapse.
