You can’t tell me how to live, Niyola replies fan who queried her natural look on Instagram

Singer, Niyola, Friday responded to a fan who told her stop posing make-up free selfies because of her celebrity status.

The user with the handle @zoilayoungspot had advised the ‘Toh Bad’ singer to change her ‘Insta game’.

The cheeky fan who opined that “looking natural most of the time is not a thing for stars”, belched “I know you enjoy being natural but you are in the music business you are meant to stay fly almost all the time with your fans.

She added: “I’ll say be fly almost every time, you are a star, you have to behave the way stars do because you are in that business except you want to be something else.

“Your likes are low and since you are on Instagram it’s mostly pictures.  Set out your best for your fans, you are not a regular girl so don’t act like a regular girl on Instagram you are a star. I love you but you have to change your Insta game.”

The artiste rarely replies fans told the busybody that she loves being herself and will share her “fly” and “not so fly” pictures anytime she likes because she is still the same person.

“Here’s what the issue is, you think you need to wear white armour of clothes, make up, what have you to be fly. Maybe that’s you, but honey I am first human, then a woman before anything else and if I can’t be human then I don’t know what the world has come to. If I can post pictures when I am “fly” I can post pictures when I am not “so fly” after all it’s still me in the picture.  Sorry if my being humane disappoints you so much, but this is me sharing my life with you …I am not asking to be told how to live it . Good looking out though.”

Niyola whose real name is Eniola Akinbo is currently signed to Banky W’s EME Music label.
