Buhari’s internet-breaking daughter, Zahra, to marry oil tycoon’s son

Zahra Buhari, whose pictures caused a storm in Nigeria cyberspace in January 2015, is set to marry Ahmed Indimi on December 2 according to multiple reports.

The groom-to-be is the son of billionaire oil baron, Mohammed Indimi.

Zahra is a graduate of microbiology from the University of Surrey, England and an ambassador for SCAF, an organisation dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for those living sickle cell.

Former US Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle, gave her special recognition in June for promoting free genotype testing and genetic counseling in Nigeria.

Her fiancée attended Global International College in Lagos and bagged a degree in information technology at the American InterContinental University, in Atlanta, USA.

He proceeded to complete an MBA in internet security at the same institution where he served as the treasurer of the student union government at the London campus.

Indimi holds the position of the marketing director of Oriental Energy Resources.

The wedding comes a few weeks after Zahra’s half sister, Fatima, got married to former Managing Director of Bank of Industry, Gimba Kumo.

Ahmed’s sister, Rahama, is married to Mohammed, first son of former military President, Gen Ibrahim Babangida (rtd).
