Buhari’s aide, Kadaria Ahmed, others attack Fayose’s former spokesman for ‘consented rape’ comment

Tolu Ogunlesi, social media aide of President Muhammadu Buhari, has attacked Lere Olayinka, former spokesman of ex-governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, for referring to Busola Dakolo’s encounter with Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo as ‘consented rape’.

Mrs Dakolo in an interview with Chude Jideonwo on YNaija TV revealed that as a teenager in the Divine Delight Club, the precursor to Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), she was groomed and raped by the pastor.

The mother of three said it happened while she was a 16-year-old secondary school student living with her parents in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Mr Olayinka wrote on Twitter on Friday that it appeared to him that it was consented, apparently dismissing Dakolo’s allegation.

“To me, it appears like a CONSENTED Rape…But wetin I know self???” he said.

In reaction to Olayinka’s tweet, Mr Ogunlesi told the former aide to stick to ‘abusing Buhari’ and avoid comments about Dakolo.

“As the grey hairs upon thine head are plenty so is the foolishness inside. Stick to abusing Buhari and leave this alone, Lere,” Ogunlesi wrote.

Popular journalist, Kadaria Ahmed, responded with disgust to Olayinka’s comment.

Other Nigerians have also condemned the former aide for his comments.
