President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated First Bank of Nigeria Plc on its 125 years anniversary.
The bank recently held a 125 km relay walk in strategic branches nationwide to mark the feat.
In a tweet on Monday, Mr Buhari described First Bank as the oldest bank in the country, adding that purposefulness and prudence had become the bank’s hallmark.
The president also urged the “bank to continue supporting the Nigerian economy, especially by providing financial lifelines for businesses.”
