Comedian Onyebuchi Ojieh, popularly known as Buchi, has accused his former wife’s brother of allegedly assaulting his daughter and restricting his access to her.
In a series of posts on his Instagram page, Buchi claimed the man beat his daughter, seized her phone, and interfered with her hair after it was loosened.

In another post, Buchi alleged that the man told him there was nothing he could do since he does not live in the United States. He also said he would expose everyone he believes is involved in what he described as the taking of his children.

Everybody who ever played a role in stealing my kids will be exposed !! E don do!! time to even talk about that aaliyah_isede .. update us how e dey be na.. make mama proud naaa.. Lagos swallow u??”
Last year, Buchi shared a video showing his reunion with his daughter. He said the child was brought from the United States to Canada to meet him and described the moment as emotional.
In 2023, after his separation from his former wife, Buchi accused his former in-laws of taking his children and denying him access to them. He alleged that his wife’s family was involved in the situation involving his children, Isede and Salami and said his access was being restricted.
He also claimed at the time that his communication with his daughter had been reduced from twice weekly video calls to voice notes, and that calls were often followed by him being blocked until certain demands were met.
The latest claims add to the ongoing dispute between Buchi and his former in-laws over access to his children, which he has repeatedly raised publicly on social media since the separation.
