Bobrisky storms cinema for Eniola Ajao’s movie

Crossdresser Bobrisky on Monday stormed a cinema in Ikeja, Lagos to support actress and movie producer Eniola Ajao on the release of her film Ajakaju: Beast of Two Worlds.

The film was released in the cinema on March 29 and several celebrities like Dayo Amusa, Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola and Jide Awobona have been supporting Eniola by encouraging their fans to watch the movie.

On Monday, Bobrisky arrived the cinema for a meet and greet and was welcomed by a large crowd and many trooped in to take pictures with the crossdresser.

Bobrisky, who was accompanied by Eniola Ajao, exchange pleasantries with his fans before heading into the cinema to watch the film.

Several videos of the crossdresser at the cinema have been circulating on the internet.

The announcement of Bobrisky as the best dressed female at the movie premiere on March 24, sparked controversy on social media.

Singer Portable and the crossdresser engaged in a messy fight on Instagram over Portable disapproval of his win.

Actor Femi Adebayo who announced Bobrisky as the winner, also received backlash from the public and faced criticism from his colleague Dayo Amusa.

The actor, his wife Aduke and Dayo engaged in a war of words on March 27, forcing Eniola to put out a statement on Instagram, apologising to everyone.

In her statement, Eniola said she decided to announce Bobrisky as the best dressed female to promote the film.

Addressing Bobrisky, she wrote: “To Bobrisky @bobrisky222 I offer my sincere apologies for putting you in a difficult position. The decision to award you was never meant to cause harm or controversy but was rather an attempt to generate publicity for our movie. I am truly sorry for any distress this may have caused you.”

“In an effort to make amends and correct my mistakes, I have decided to honour two females, Bode Alao and one other beautiful woman as the best-dressed females at the premiere. Each will receive a sum of N1,000,000(One Million Naira) as a token of my sincere apology and appreciation for their grace and elegance,” Eniola added.
