Blood Sisters returns June 5 with Ini Dima-Okojie, new cast

Netflix has announced that the Nigerian series Blood Sisters will return for its second season on June 5.

The streaming platform shared the update on its official Instagram page on Tuesday, alongside a post revealing that new cast members will also join the upcoming season.

Sharing pictures of the cast, the post read, “Blood Sisters is returning with the usual suspects, some fresh faces and… is that romance we spy? 👀 Blood Sisters: Season 2, coming to Netflix 5th June”

The post featured images of Uche Jombo, Ini Dima Okojie, Daniel Etim-Effiong, Kate Henshaw, Nancy Isime, Genoveva Umeh, Blessing Obasi and Segun Arinze.

The series will also introduce several new cast members including Michelle Dede, Ifeanyi Kalu, Ben Lugo Touitou, Bolaji Ogunmola, Mike Afolarin, Anita “Warri Pikin” Asuoha, Blessing Obasi and Fadekemi Olumide.

Blood Sisters first premiered in 2022 as one of Netflix’s Nigerian original limited series. It follows the story of two friends, Sarah and Kemi, whose lives change after a wedding day incident forces them into hiding, leading to a chain of events involving family conflict, crime and survival.

The series was created by Temidayo Makanjuola and produced by EbonyLife Studios in partnership with Netflix. Mo Abudu served as executive producer. The first season was directed by Kenneth Gyang and Tola Odunsi.
