Bimbo Oshin mourns Murphy Afolabi on sixth-month death anniversary

Actress Bimbo Oshin has mourned actor Murphy Afolabi on the sixth-month anniversary of his death.

The actress prayed for the deceased in the comment section of a video shared by fellow actor Adekola Tija ni.

Adekola and another film practitioner named Sunday Dada shared a video of the duo and Olaiya Igwe via Instagram on Tuesday, paying tributes to Murphy Afolabi.

Olaiya Igwe prayed for everyone who supported and came through for the actor before and after his death.

“It’s been six months since Murphy Afolabi died. Using this opportunity to thank those who mourned with the family. May we not see untimely death,” he said in parts.

Joining others to mourn the movie star, Bimbo Oshin prayed that the actor would continue to rest in peace.

“Continue to rest in peace,” she wrote.

Another actress Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje added: “Continue to rest.”

Murphy Afolabi died on May 14, 2023, after a fall in the bathroom at his Ikorodu home. He was buried the next day.

Born in Osun State, Murphy graduated from Ire Polytechnic in the same state. He got into the movie industry in 2001.
