The announcement was made at a media briefing held at the George Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Auditions will hold on February 1 and 2 across six Nigerian cities including Lagos, Calabar, Enugu, Benin, Ibadan, Warri and Port Harcourt.
Big Brother alumnus, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, will reprise his role as host in the 2019 edition.
This will be the second time the Nigerian version of the worldwide reality television show will be shot in Nigeria since it began in 2006.
The 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija tagged ‘Double Wahala Edition’ was won by Miracle who defeated other finalists, Tobi, Alex, Nina and Cee-C to win the N45m cash prize and other juicy rewards.
