Basorge Tariah launches Solid Star Records, unveils two new acts

Legendary entertainer and ingenious entertainment businessman, Basorge Tariah popularly known as ‘The Grandmaster’ will be launching his record label, Solid Star Records on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at the Carnavalah located on Waziri Ibrahim Street,  Victoria Island, Lagos.

He will also be unveiling two fresh acts signed on the label, Nifty Boy and Bere.

A statement from Solid Star Records, a subsidiary of Solid Star Entertainment revealed that the founder of the company, Basorge who also recently brought on board a new partner will be investing lots of resources in the development and marketing of new talents.

The label indicated that the satisfaction in opening new pages for creative young people who stand absolutely no chance in the ever difficult and competitive terrain of entertainment is part of the factors currently driving the entertainment firm.

Nifty Boy and Bere are the two first artistes to be unveiled by the label, two top notch raw talents that will hold their own in the competitive music industry.

Uniquely gifted Nifty Boy, real names Enoch Solomon is a promising young act who hails from Kaduna. Armed with a compelling youthful voice, Nifty is a creative song writer and a gifted producer. He is adventurous and experiments with different genres of music which include R&B, Afropop and Dancehall.

Chidi-Ebere Benard hails from Ebonyi State is a whirling musical talent who has a wealth of experience that most upcoming acts would envy. Bere has been furnace tested and musically coated.

The label will officially unveil the new acts and its objectives as a record label in the presence of top entertainment professionals and the media on the June 24. And for the first time, the acts will also perform some of their songs to the listening pleasure of the audience who will be left to make their own personal decisions on the talents and the creativity of the artistes.

With cognitive experience to discover, nurture and promote, the label noted that they will continue to make invaluable contributions to the overall development of the entertainment industry.
