Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, among others, are celebrating former Anambra State governor Peter Obi on his 59th birthday.
In a tweet on Sunday, Atiku wished his former running mate in the 2019 general elections more years in good health and service.
“On behalf of my family, I wish former Vice Presidential candidate and former Governor of Anambra State whose governance imprints still sustain years after, @PeterObi, a most memorable 59th birthday celebration. I wish you many more years in good health and service,” he wrote.
Okowa also congratulated Obi on Twitter. He wrote: “On behalf of my family and the government and people of Delta State, I wish the former Governor of Anambra State, and the Vice-Presidential Candidate of our great party in the 2019 general election, H.E. @PeterObi, a very Happy Birthday!”
Other Nigerians have also taken to Twitter to celebrate the two-term former governor.
