Founder of Eternity Network International (ENI), also known as Koinonia Global, Joshua Selman has announced plans to adopt a young girl and sponsor her education to university level.
The cleric made the announcement during a recent ministration while introducing the girl to members of the congregation.
According to Apostle Selman, the girl had formed a habit of giving him sweets after each lecture he delivered.
In a video shared on TikTok, he said the girl would usually hug him before handing him the gift.
Selman said the gesture continued for some time and made him wonder what explanation the girl gave her parents whenever she asked for money to buy the sweets.
He said he decided to support the girl’s education as a way of appreciating her kindness.
“Every time I come for lecture, once I’m done, she will buy me a sweet,” he said.
“At a point, I became uncomfortable, and I said, ‘You mean this lady keeps buying these things?’ I wondered what she tells her mother and father all the time.”
He added that the girl also brought him flowers during the programme.
“As an honour to her, we will sponsor her up to university,” he said.
Selman also stated that the sponsorship could extend beyond university level if she chooses to continue her education.
Apostle Joshua Selman is a preacher and founder of Koinonia Global, a Christian ministry known for its weekly meetings, conferences and online sermons. He started the ministry in 2011 in Zaria, Kaduna State, before expanding its activities to other parts of Nigeria and abroad.
