Ajimobi’s widow loses mother

Florence Ajimobi, widow of the late former Oyo State governor Abiola Ajimobi, has lost her mother Victoria Amudoaghan.

Mrs Amudoaghan died on September 9, according to the obituary published on Tuesday by Florence on Instagram.

“With pain in our hearts but having joy and gratitude that heaven has gained a saint, we announce the transition to glory of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Victoria Amaka Amudoaghan who passed on, Thursday, 9th of September, 2021,” the obituary read.

“Mama was born on the 10th of April 1943 at Kwale in Ndokwa West Local Government area of Delta State. As a young Lady, she moved to Lagos, settled there and married Late Erasmus Amudoaghan. The union was blessed with children traversing different walks of life.

“The Late Victoria Amudoaghan was a very hardworking and enterprising woman. She was also a devout catholic and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos.”

Amudoaghan is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Florence’s husband died on June 25, 2020 of complications occasioned by COVID-19.
