Adeniyi Johnson, Seyi Edun hold naming ceremony for twins

Actor Adeniyi Johnson and his wife Seyi Edun have held the naming ceremony for their twin children.

Adeniyi announced the birth of the twins on February 27 when he turned 45.

Seyi shared on Instagram a video capturing beautiful moments of the ceremony on Monday.

“ITS THE LORD’S DOING AND ITS MARVELOUS IN OUR SIGHT. Mummy twins and Daddy twins say Thank you all,” she wrote.

At the ceremony, Adeniyi was dressed in a white attire while his wife wore a flowery dress. The couple chose lemon green for their headgears.

The children’s godmother Bimbo Oshin, also an actress, was at the ceremony. Seyi appeared overwhelmed with joy as she could not hold back tears.

In his birthday post, Adeniyi said he and wife waited for seven years to have a child.

“My wife and I waited for Seven years … GOD IS INDEED GOD… He planned it as a birthday gift for me … Friends, Family, Fans, well-wishers and Associates I am happy and pleased to announce to you all that I am the latest TWINS DAD!!! My wife is doing fine and Ibeji are doing great… THANK YOU ALL!!!” He wrote.

The actor, once married to Toyin Abraham, said the birth of the twins was the reason he could not make a post earlier in the day about his birthday.

“This is why I couldn’t post or celebrate my birthday. I didn’t even remember it’s my birthday. Apologies for not replying messages, taking calls or commenting on your posts I hope this good news will make you pardon me. I love you all.

“THANK YOU Seyi Edun for these beautiful kids. God keep and protect them for us. I LOVE YOU BABY,” Adeniyi concluded his post.
