Adeleke’s sister holds eighth-day fidau prayer for late husband

Dupe Adeleke-Sanni, elder sister of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has held the eighth-day fidau prayer for her late husband Tohir Sanni.

Present at the fidau prayer on Sunday in Ibadan, Oyo State were Adeleke, his brother Adedeji Adeleke, and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.

A statement on February 25 by the governor through the commissioner for information and public enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, condoled with his sister, describing the deceased as a nice, kind and easy-going father figure.

Adeleke expressed shock over the death of his in-law, stating that he played prominent roles in his emergence as governor.

He recalled the many contributions of the 74-year-old, particularly his exemplary lifestyle as a good father, great and grandfather, who did a lot for the growth and development of Islam and humanity in general.
