Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke said on Thursday that he has been briefed about the death of a member of the library staff at the University of Ilesa (UNILESA).

The victim Fanimo Ogunmokun died on Wednesday after a cashew container fell on her car.

The accident happened along Ilesa/Ibodi Expressway, a few meters away from the university’s main entrance.

“Yes. I was briefed about the unfortunate accident yesterday. My prayers are with family of the deceased. I have directed commissioner for transportation and all relevant agencies to find out the owner of the said truck, the circumstances of the accident and how to ensure such does not happen again,” he wrote.
